I am interested in making a career change to a position that utilizes both my education and my experience. Ideal positions for me are in Health Management, Human Factors Research, Psychiatric Epidemiology or Global Health.

I recently received my Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on psychological models and the treatment of Organic Personality Disorders. My primary interest is in behavioral and cultural factors and environmental influences associated with movement and movement issues, assessments, and sensory and perception processes.

In addition to my Master's, I completed a graduate certificate in 2012 focusing on Indigenous Cultures and Globalization from The Fourth World Institute. My research topic was primary on religious-mythological world views and health care seeking behaviors from a social-psychology perspective.

Educational competencies: Knowledge of healthcare issues for indigenous cultures; basic knowledge of Global Health Management and Economics; and knowledge of Epidemiological practices.

Quantitative skills: Data analysis; proficient in applied statistics; knowledge of research designs and methods; performing independent and collaborative research; SWOT/PEST analysis; and synthesizing information.

Planning and organization skills: Developing action and organizational plans for non-profit; coordination with internal and external stakeholders; monitoring and strategic management of projects; developing and managing fiscal accounting systems; reporting metrics requirements; coordinating mid-size events; familiarity with grant, writing, funding and management (15+ years).

Computer Competencies: Proficiency in Mac applications; Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, and Word (15+ years); CMSs; SSPS (2 years); learning SAS.

    2010 - 2013 ● Provided local and global program coordination with government entities, created and revised documents for a Prophet & Trojan System reset program (mobile communications platforms) and maintained critical updates for on-track project goals.     2009 - 2010 • Responsible for the organization and coordination of Capitol High School Roof Collapse FEMA project. Developing a filing system for project management and archiving, coordinating between the school district and FEMA, used Microsoft excel to track project budget data (man hours, invoices, project completion, accounts payable and receivable, and employee records).

    1999 - 2009 ● Developed a dance school and small non-profit dance company from the ground up. Managed all aspects of the school functions, including grant writing and fundraising. Supervised 5 employees and numerous volunteers.
