Within seven months, Karl renovated this traditional 177 employee, $125 million European consumer finance organization, increasing earnings before income taxes 41.4% from $7.3 million to $ 10.3 million. He closed unprofitable operations in the Republic of Ireland and reduced credit losses while growing revenues by 17.5% and economic profit to parent company by $2 million, a 68.1 % improvement from the prior period.

Karl led development of 20+ strategic alliances and joint ventures with diverse national/international partners the business unit processed over $1 billion of new origination volume through one of the finance industry’s first fully automated web based origination platforms, Creditlink.

Karl was instrumental in the company's growth from $7 million to $50 million over ten years.
