En résumé

I’m Kevin Vergnolle, a versatile designer. Graduated with a double Master degree at l’École de Design de Nantes and at IAE Nantes, I’m an industrial designer specialized in Social Innovation and project management. My work is centered on users' experience, which allows me to answer in a better way to users needs. This is a work of listening and collaboration focusing on design thinking. Attentive to details, I advocate an intuitive and minimalistic design based on functionality. I enjoy connecting traditional craft to innovative manufacturing techniques and technologies to develop manufacturing products. When I’m not at my office, you can find me surfing, working with wood or cooking while listening to a Ted’x podcast.

I am currently looking for a position in an industrial design company, versatile design agency, start-up project development or innovation consulting agency.

  • KV Studio - Freelance Designer

    2018 - maintenant Freelance activity. In collaboration with companies to propose new services to match the competition, by using 3D visuals rendering to attract their consumers. I created trophies for a drone film fair and worked on the space design of a barn. I developed my own products like a knife with a folding blade, multi-materials cosy lamp and more recently a watch. I’m also working on graphic design such as logo, visual identity and informative pamphlet.

  • ORA - Project development/Design/Market analysis

    Nantes 2016 - 2017 Ora was a startup project about outdoor air pollution in urban area. This global project propose a range of products composed of Urban Furnitures for cities and an individual connected device for citizens to create a virtuous circle. Thus citizens, transit services and public authority can improve air quality together.

    ORA as part of 10 Finalist of ENGIE ® 2016 call for proposals answers to improve air quality in tomorrow’s cities. After that Engie has been a collaborator and ORA was incubated in Pépite Starter Créer in Nantes for 7 months.

  • Thinkable studio - Industrial Designer

    2016 - 2016 Located in Offenburg, Germany, Thinkable studio is an industrial design consultancy agency creating innovative products and solutions for various international companies.

    I was involved in the design of a variety of products from hospital (Alere® and Epocal ®), to augmented reality (WaveOptics ®) and firefighter (Scott Safety ®) wearable devices.

  • The design village - Working Student

    2015 - 2015 New Delhi-India

    Transcultural design in sustainable and social design. Adapting the design thinking process at the Indian culture. Meeting people in streets to analyse the necessities and problems and try to solve it in collaboration with people to respect their culture. I was encountered and worked with atypical indian craftspeople. Each day is a struggle.

  • UniStudio - Designer Industriel

    2014 - 2015 Located in Lille, France, Unistudio is an industrial product design agency with a versatile team. Its global and strategic vision can be adapted from start-ups to major international groups. Unistudio uses mainly collaboration and design thinking to create innovative products solutions.

    Involved in the design of various products, Unistudio is working for different sectors. For example, an hospital named Somno’art ® (PPRS ®), an award from the observer design label 2017 for Concierge ® product (Home autonomous product device), a design prototype for WayKonect ® to fundraise their startup and children's furniture for Cyrillus ®.

  • L'atelier de Patrick Sarran - Designer industriel

    2013 - 2013 This design cabinet-making is producing unique pieces for theater set, art work displays, and industrial wooden products for luxury hotels and restaurants (Michel SARRAN).

    I have realised a display stand for a three dimensional printed Gilles AZZARO works named "Barack OBAMA - Next Industrial Revolution ». In collaboration with Artilect Fablab Toulouse we developed a link between traditional arts/crafts (woodworking) and modern industry. To created this stand we used oak, PVC tube, solid surface, bending process, wood veneer, woodturning and laser cutting.

    This master gave me a global aspect of business administration, by studying law, economy, strategy, marketing, market analysis, management, human resources, with a specialization in business administration.

    I used these skills during two main projects. One in partnership with NAONED eyewear ® in order to propose new glasses segment. And another to apply marketing process during a 4 months project
