SOUSSE
I have a PhD in Physics-Electronics from the Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, the University of Monastir, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Technology and Imaging (LR12ES06) at the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir and INRIA Nancy Grand Est Research Center in France. After a postgraduate degree in Materials and Devices for Electronics at the Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, I defended a PhD in applied Electronics in biomedical tools and whose subject focused on the study and design of an ambulatory electronic system for the assessment of the levels of human vigilance in real time. The system was implemented and validated by exploiting several architectural approaches (parallelism, types of operators, pipeline materials .... etc) . I defended my thesis on April 9th, 2006 with an honorable mention. This work has been valued through publications related to artificial intelligence as well as architecture optimization of embedded systems in the medical field .
I have been a senior lecturer in electronics and microelectronics at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (ISSAT) of Sousse since 2008. My teaching activities at the Electronics Department correlate with my research activities . At the ISSAT (Sousse), I am dedicated mainly to the overall coordination of module teaching: Embedded Systems and Advanced parallel programming respectively for engineers' training (Bac +5) in Industrial Computer Science and a Master of Research in Computer Science . I have been also responsible for the Intel idea incubator set up at the ISSAT (Sousse) since 2012.
