Laura Guérin is a scholar who graduated at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) of Paris. In her PhD dissertation, she examined how food practices in French nursing care services are socially shaped. She mainly considered the role of catering professionals in the fight against undernutrition and loneliness of elderly people living in institutions.
