En résumé

Currently on my last year of my Master Degree at ENSEEIHT engineering school in Toulouse, France - Hydraulic and Fluid Mechanics department - I am ending it doing my Master Thesis at DTU in the Wind Energy department from April to September2013.

Through my studies, I had a first experience in technology and market development thanks to a six-month internship in a French company associated with Veolia environment in the wind power field, especially in the floatind offshore wind turbine. I also got involved in product developement project in Aldes (Shanghai) Indoor Air Technology, Chinese branch of Aldes, in Shanghai. This product aimed to link an air treatment device to a HVAC system.

At the ENSEEIHT, one of the highest level French engineering school in its field, I acquired a strong background in hydraulic and fluid mechanics and also a good knowledge in thermal and mechanical engineering. I also worked with engineering software such as Matlab, Scilab, Fluent, Ansys or AutoCAD.

  • DTU Wind Energy - Fluid mechanics flows modeling trainee engineer

    2013 - maintenant - Panel method development on MATLAB. Single and double wake models implementations. Unsteady code also developed for the single wake model.

    - Semi-empirical approach to determine the separation point location. Definition of a separation criteria and comparison of the results to experimental data.
  • Aldes (Shanghai) Industries - Trainee engineer on the development of a combined aire treatment/HVAC system

    2012 - 2012 - Review of pollution characterization over China (pollutants compositions, sizes, concentrations).

    - Review of existing treatment and control devices. Comparative analysis to find the best suitable solution. Dimensionning calculation.

    - Test bench installation in ALDES Chinese factory.
  • Groupe ASAH LM - Trainee engineer on the development of a floating wind turbine technology

    2011 - 2012 - Technology development through design process and economical approach. Patent application.

    - Aerodynamics and structural calculations. Concept presentation towards industrials.

    - Drawings realisation on AutoCAD in 2D and 3D. Presentation of calculations and drawings towards engineering consulting firm and university laboratory.

    - Spinfloat Project development aiming hundreds of MW installed, market sizing in the range of $2 billions ($3M/offshore MW installed). Meetings with utilities, local authorities and clusters.

    - Took part in the AGNES project focused on compressed air energy storage.
  • European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) - Technician

    2010 - 2010 - Maintenance of the entire site, including the beamlines.

    - Restoration of a PVC roof. Improvement of basic technical skills.

    - Teamwork and first approach of a competitive scientific structure.
