En résumé

Lucie Dehli is a classical and electro composer, singer, songwriter, and a double bass player. She’s also the producer of many albums.
She was brought up between the lovely voice of her mother who loved singing popular songs and the infinite knowledge of her music teatcher, a hornist. He taught her about the alchemy of music and together they spent hours talking about the illumination of the greatest composers such as Mozart, Debussy, Bach and many others.
When she was a 2 years old baby, she spent a year in an hospital with her older sister because of a bad disease. There, far from parents she could only see once a month, she found grace into music. Every evening, before sleeping she used to sing “to talk with Angels”.
At the age of 6, she took to violin and studied classical music.
She sung in many chorals, practiced music everyday although her violin was slightly kept on the side.
She took a lot of time in her childhood listening to classical music. Neil Young offered her her first strong feelings for contemporary music.
When she ended her classical musical studies in Paris, she faced that violin was not her instrument and took a painful year to give up.
She stayed 4 years without listening to any classical music and started, in her parisian nights, to be moved by Jazz Music.
Then she did another main encounter of her life in the name of Stephan Ink. Together, they gave birth to Vicious Circle and signed with the mytic British label (Barbed Wire Slides 1991 Some Bizzare) for a piece of dark music, brilliantly welcome in Europe and USA. The album had 3 re-editions since then in France and Russia. Then came View (Bike Ride, Life goes on Again – Les Disques du Soleil et de l’Acier 1993-1995), and Elephant Leaf (Emotionnal Power, The Taste of Salt - Tutuguri 2008-2009). In all these projects, Lucie composed, sung, played violin and keyboards.
At this time, she also took seriously to Jazz, composed and performed old style Jazz under the name of Zizalie, expressing and playing with her joyful and light caracter. After she disbanded Elephant Leaf, Lucie quickly composed again. In her new compositions, she felt as a priority to make joy and depth co-exist. As for now, she offers cardinal points to listen to as spots in her music. Anger, amazement, bareness, sensuality. 4 poles between which she makes us travel all along her shows.
Like “Le Petit Poucet”, Hop-o'-My-Thumb, she makes a way with stones, colourful, bare, precious, all full of energy.

In her last solo project, she performs on vocals, double bass and laptops mixing pop, rock, ambient, and blues styles somewhere between the intimacy of Ry Cooder and the emphasis of Muse, giving once in a while birth to peaceful ballads.

She includes the video skills of the designer Mickaël Hoebregs who catch us his fractal world and the way they draw the lane takes us to the most secret and precious parts of ourselves. The show generates harmony, beauty and above all, energy in many ways.
