Vivendi Games ( Currently Activision - Blizzard ) was the worldwide leader in on-line MMOG and a top 10 publisher in console and mobile games.
I was managing a publishing and R&D team of 250+ people (Meudon-Paris/Bucharest/San-Mateo) including internal post-production capabilities (QA & porting). Responsibilities include: the publishing strategy (portfolio management and editorial strategy) as well as full R&D responsibility in producing 20+ titles per year with over 750+ handsets per game release in a context of a global market deployment (EMAE, NA, and APAC). Other direct responsibilities include strategic planning, M&A, editorial and licensing strategy.
Accolades: 30+ Awards including “Best Game of the Year 2006” and “Best Casual Game 2007” at the Spike TV VGA Awards with the release of some top mobile games, including #1 best selling 2008 game on I-phone with Crash Nitro Kart, and Surviving High School, a new weekly episodic model with15m packs downloaded, top 10 among US carriers.

Managed the Coktel studio, leader in the Kids market segment in Europe with an awarded portfolio of top selling European brands such as “Adi”, “Adibou”, “Adibout’chou” - Re-design and developed Coktel’s product line-up with over 10 new titles and games for kids on various platforms including PC, PS2, web PC.
Led Coktel’s transformation from a PC-only Studio into a unique European multi-format player in the Kids market including TV, Interactive TV (Canal Satellite), books and eToys.

As part of the international Kid’s group based in Paris, set-up and management of the on-line division entity, education.com, in the U.S.A., France, Germany and United Kingdom.
Managed the publishing efforts and BtoB deployment of a series of internet applications targeting the core-curriculum and edutainment segment.
Education.com was the umbrella brand within Vivendi Universal Publishing covering the development and management of varied on-line projects based on leading educational resources and brands owned by Vivendi Universal Publishing (Coktel Studio, Houghton Mifflin, Anaya, Larousse, Nathan, Bordas, Knowledge-Adventure, King fisher, Harrap’s).

Successfully created and executed direct and interactive marketing programs for the gaming (Sierra, Blizzard) and edutainment group (Coktel Studio/Knowledge Adventure).
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Direct Marketing strategy in Europe:
direct-mail and e-commerce / consumer publications and websites / educational on-line services.
It covered the launch and the management of the first-to-market on-line educational services (Virtual Classes of Adi and Adibou European on-line services 1996-97) averaging 7000 monthly subscribers in Europe. This pioneering Internet services was a strong contributor to the Kid’s business brand building effort.
