ALAMEDA
Lydie is born in Cataluna, an area famous for its artists: Salvador Dali, Pau Casals, Antoni Gaudi and Aristide Maillol and has always been attracted by the Arts. She holds a Master in International Trade and worked four years in fields as diverse as wine and architecture. In 1997, she left her position as executive assistant to architect Santiago Calatrava to follow her husband to the Bay Area where they are raising their two daughters.
Besides founding Artchestra, she has been volunteering her time at diverse preschools and elementary schools in Northern California and is the head coordinator for the Art Docent Program at her oldest daughter school.
