Écouflant2014 - 2014All hydraulic systems generate more or less noise, the steering servo hydraulic installation is no exception. To be able to tune the installation, Scania could make use of an alternative to do the tuning on a complete vehicle. It should be easy to change parts and measure the results in terms of pressure pulsations, pressure drop, acceleration and sound. The alternative must be designed in such a way that it is compact, movable, be able to handle different steering installation types, power a hydraulic servo pump and be able to load the steering gear with variable loads. It must be easy to mount relevant sensors and measurement system. The rig must be designed in such a way that the components can handle a wide temperature span.
The assignment consists in developing an alternative to measure steering installation in a complete vehicle, for measuring acoustic noise and pressures.

MAGNY COURS2013 - 2014Internship in the design office of the French racecar/formula car manufacturer Mygale in Magny-Cours as a design engineer among a team of 4 design engineers.
I took part in the design of the new FIA Formula 4, a formula car created in the goal of offering a low cost "first step" into the formula car racing world and designed in order to reach FIA's highest expectations in terms of drivers safety, vehicle performance and cost efficiency.
I have been involved all through its design and development phase until its final production phase; starting the internship with only an incomplete model on Catia and ending it with a rolling car performing its first laps on the race track.
This involved the design of the car's chassis, bodywork and all its subsystems except the engine and the gear box.
My work consisted in conceiving subsystems and adapting existing parts in order create a fully efficient car both on the performance side and on the cost side. of the vehicle from its exhaust to parts of the bodywork through the use of Catia V5R20.
