    2004 - maintenant Strategic consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development. This position also includes advising the company's management team on formation of adittional corporations and business structures, drafting privacy policies and structuring commercial transactions.

    In this position I'm responsible for the creation of value for my clients' organisations through the application of knowledge, techniques and assets. I help my client's to improve their general corporate performance. As a management consultant I'm independent and qualified with required experience in management and the ability to provide a wider expertise than is available within my clients' organisation.

    In my role as management consultant I'm primarily concerned with initiating and implementing technological, organisational and behavioural changes. My work involves providing objective appraisals where it is often easier for an expert outsider to see the broader picture and reorganise the long-term requirements of an organisation.

    As a consultant I often work with senior management as well as with employees at all corporte levels.

    Achievements: International Nutraceutical Sales Channel Expansion

    Vitaelin Nutraceuticals (http://vitaelinhealthcenter.com , www.vitaelin.biz and www.vitaelin.com ), an established neutraceutical (vitamin/dietary food supplements) company had not fully developed their sales and distribution channels to address opportunities in Latin and South America.

    With my team I worked with the management of the company in identifying the opportunities and priorities for expansion into this region. Additionally, we recommended the organizational design, metrics and business processes that needed to be put in place to support the implementation the new organization in the region. We also worked with the management team in refining the original business plan to better meet their objectives. As a result of the planning efforts, this new sales organization exceeded it goal in growth, sales revenue, key customer, and profitability. The assignment included the development and implementation of a strategy to identify important resellers, retailers, and distributors to expand distribution.

    Together with my team I worked with the client in developing their priorities, putting in place the appropriate support programs and infrastructure, and targeting the highest leverage opportunities.

    Finally, I helped the client establish and train a dedicated sales team to drive the development of these new channels. These channels are expected to drive as much as 70% of the client’s sales in Latin and South America in the coming years.
  • The Visual Consultancy Corporation - Editor/Medical & Scientific Writer

    2004 - 2005 As an Editor/Medical and Scientific Writer I was responsible for the development of specific and medical education materials (including CME and corporate/product teaching materials). I also contributed to various pharmaceutical product monographs (Oncology/Haematology) and was a content researcher for a variety of general and medical publications published by the company.
