    * Projects_Carve out of 6 divisions from 3 legal entities. Financial support in the GFP Restructuring. ;
    * Not Recurring assignments_Financial support in establishing JV's in Middle East areas (relations with the external auditors, contact point with the seller and preparation of the Due diligence financial reporting). ;
    * Process improvement_Set up of the Quarterly Cash Direct Reporting, the Monthly Large Orders reporting and the Order Pipeline report. ;
    * Planned 2008 results achieved! ;

    Objectives.
    * To Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports (IFRS) in a truly worldwide environment. ;
    * To provide the Top Management with effective communication in terms of comparison of Actual with Budget, Forecasts and previous year's results. ;
    * To provide recommendations on external growth projects, such as green fields, joint ventures and acquisitions ;
    * To conduct regular audits in the units (Far East risky business practices). ;
    * To Search and Extend best practices among the different units.

    Main Achievements
    * Audit_Deployment of the Internal Control Toolkit, the Delegation of Authority and the internal/external audit follow up according to Areva Rules and assure local practices to be Areva Value compliant (prohibition to use sales representatives and consultants...) ;
    * Quantitative Targets_Cash Flow improvement via working capital (lean manufacturing ) and overdue reduction (implementation of the Overdue Toolkit) and the Cash collection Organisation (India ) ;
    * Process improvement_Setting up effective financial KPI's: Margin at Direct costs analysis by channel (Contractors, Direct, OEM...) by segment (Utilities, Industry....) by geography, by sub product line (Air insulated, Gas insulated switch gears, Vacuum breakers ) ;
    * Process improvement_Cost follow up (quarterly units cost bench mark). ;
    * Process improvement_Set up of the Three month rolling forecast. ;
    * Management_People review and career development for n-1 (Unit Financial Controllers) and n-2 (Cost Controllers).
