Data Coordinator during seven years for finish goods, raw material, trading goods in three different SAP Systems for Europe, Asia and US.
- The codification process of a new material requires much input from several departments.With the assistance of IT, an Access Data Base is developed to allow the follow up of a codification status, throughout the process, while reducing completion time(Europe and US).
- In 2006 with the start-up of GSSR-extension to Surface Specialties plants, I was asked to take the responsibility of the global mapping of Master Data from SAP to Cytec's BPCS, involving more than 20.000 items only for US . I did the same for China and Drogenbos.
The main challenge has been to combine the tranfer of data with a "cleansing" to avoid redundancies, which can create issues for reporting and forecasting.
- Playing a lead role in the definition and inplementation of a new process, I received the responsibility as Global Data Coordinator, for all Data's to be set up in both SAP and BPCS systems.
