Shepherd clients through all stages of their projects, from determining the most appropriate legal structure to the drafting and negotiation of project contracts and guarantees, taking into consideration all of the strategic, tax and economic issues.
Recent Deals - Advised the European Energy Efficiency Fund (EEEF), in its capacity as an investor (94%) in the project company, Rennes Biomasse Énergie SAS, in the implementation of debt financing for 50 million Euro for the construction of a 10.4 MW power cogenerating facility from biomass in Rennes. Advised BayWa R.E. France, SAS, in its capacity as a project developer, in the acquisition of the Valorem wind park portfolio, with a total capacity of 200 MW in France. Facilitated the development, financing (24 million Euro), and operation of a wind park with a capacity of 12 MW in Pas-de-Calais. Advised a Luxembourg investment fund, UniInstitutional Infrakstruktur SICAV-SIF, in the acquisition and financing (15 million Euro) of a ground-mounted PV installation of 11,1 MWp in Landes (Lüe).
