    Advise banks, developers, and investors in the development, financing, and operation of wind energy, solar energy and biomass projects. Shepherd clients through all stages of their projects, from determining the most appropriate legal structure to the drafting and negotiation of project contracts and guarantees, taking into consideration all of the strategic, tax and economic issues.

    Recent Deals - Advised the European Energy Efficiency Fund (EEEF), in its capacity as an investor (94%) in the project company, Rennes Biomasse Énergie SAS, in the implementation of debt financing for 50 million Euro for the construction of a 10.4 MW power cogenerating facility from biomass in Rennes. Advised BayWa R.E. France, SAS, in its capacity as a project developer, in the acquisition of the Valorem wind park portfolio, with a total capacity of 200 MW in France. Facilitated the development, financing (24 million Euro), and operation of a wind park with a capacity of 12 MW in Pas-de-Calais. Advised a Luxembourg investment fund, UniInstitutional Infrakstruktur SICAV-SIF, in the acquisition and financing (15 million Euro) of a ground-mounted PV installation of 11,1 MWp in Landes (Lüe).

    2001 - 2006 Practiced in the area of mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions, advising French and international clients in the drafting and negotiation of contractual and financing documents (including purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, joint ventures, and reorganizations). Advised U.S. clients on corporate governance, foreign investment, privacy, data protection and other regulatory compliance issues in Europe.
