  • Apave - Ingénieur Inspection Equipement Sous Pression / Tuyauterie en Nucléaire

    Paris 2015 - 2018 Nuclear Lead Inspector and deputy Lead project manager for the Hinkley Point C Project (HPC).
    In joint venture with the Lloyds Register (LRA), Apave has in its scope the assessment of the documentation and the manufacturing of main pressure vessel equipments (The Reactor, Steam Generators and the Pressurizer) in France, England and Japan.

    I was in charge to set inspection quality system of the new joint venture LRA, to lead Inspectors on field, but also experts from the calculation department and to assess the documentation from AREVA for the client NNB.

    I was able to fulfill these functions thanks to my background and my different internal Apave accreditations as an Inspector in ‘conventional’ and in nuclear pressure vessel equipment.

    Apave is also known to be a high performance Training Center and implements, for new hires, an extensive training program. Consequently, I had some trainings in welding and destructive/non destructive test (VT, PT, MT, Xray, LT, ET, UT, TOFD & Phased Array) to be able to manage reports from different Apave Experts.

    Paris 2008 - 2015 Pressure Vessel Lead Engineer for international projects in Oil and Gas Engineering.

    In those 7 years, I was first, Specialist of Pressure Vessel Equipment, designing with Autocad and AutoPIPE Vessel all current Oil and Gas recipients. I contributed to the technical selection and followed the design of suppliers until the manufacturing in different worldwide Project.
    I was always in close interaction with different Technip Services.

    Then, I was promoted deputy Lead Engineer, and Lead Engineer, responsible to entire Feed or EPCM contracts.
    I handled quality indicator table, cost control and planning, always in connection with clients specialists, licensors, subcontractors and Technip Project Dpt.
    As the manager of the design, I also set technical specifications for requisition, technical bid tabulation and assumed the selection of suppliers and managed the engineering of most important equipments.
