    Responsibilities
    Responsible for the procurement for the Gate Project (3 LNG Tanks near Rotterdam - NL): approximately 60M€ worth of goods and services
    Responsible for prospecting suppliers, preparation and submission of quotations, selecting and negotiating with the chosen suppliers and raising the purchase orders, in conjunctions with the Project Management, respecting the internal and contractual procedures
    Following up of all placed orders in terms of delivery dates, planning, conformity, quality, documentation, payments and penalties, liaising with other departments involved in the project
    Reporting to the project team regarding the schedule and costs
    Organising and attending the Kick-Off Meetings at the main Vendors’ premises

    Achievements
    Built strong relationships with members of the Project Team working on a challenging project
    Managed to secure lead time and control costs in times of high fluctuations (e.g. Steel and Aluminium materials)

    Responsibilities
    Responsible for the procurement of approximately 4M€ worth of goods and services
    Purchasing of high and low value products from suppliers in Western and Eastern Europe and India, in a project based environment
    Responsible for prospecting new suppliers, preparation and submission of quotations, selecting and negotiating with the chosen suppliers and raising the purchase orders using the SAP accounting package
    Procurement of equipment for pumping stations, some of them had to be purchased in countries such as Algeria and Egypt
    Placing orders in conjunction with Project Managers for the supply of workforce in various countries
    Following up of all placed orders in terms of delivery dates, planning, conformity, quality, documentation, payments and penalties
    Visiting sub-contractors in order to perform audits, check the quality of their parts, their planning methodology and report my findings

    Achievements
    Successfully managed to organise the supply of a wide range of technical parts from low cost countries (Eastern Europe and India), with new suppliers, starting from scratch, with important gains and good prospects for the short and the long term.
    Always found proper and satisfactory alternatives to resolve any issues with the supply of a wide range of items and services.
    Built strong relationships with key stakeholders working on challenging projects.
