More than 25 years IT-experience, different diplomas and member of different associations as well as a Swiss commercial high school diploma, allowed him to manage complex and multicultural IT-projects in USA, Europe and Switzerland. Today his company’s activities are being concentrated on “Interactive TV”, “Managed IT-Services” and “Room-Automation”, for the hospitality environment.

    2003 - 2004 * Led complex outsourcing and hosting projects. ;
    * Acted as primary customer contact for projects while aiming to win and deploy the bid and attain defined revenue, EBIT and customer satisfaction goals in projects.
    * Conducted risk analysis and consulted customers during pre-sales (TCO, outsourcing design including security issues, HW/OS, DB, applications, etc.). Responsible for RFI/RFP, cost assessment and pricing.
    * Accountable for management and overall implementation of customer's projects.
    * Enabled effective evaluation of projects risks and developed SLAs.
    * Established a consultant network with partners for specific technologies and skills like Citrix, Oracle, Navision, etc.

  • Clifford Chance - Project Management

    Paris 2003 - 2003 Clifford Chance is an international law practice with offices in 25 countries and over 7,000 staff. The Italy practice includes 3 offices (Milan, Rome and Padua) and over 350 staff.
    * Instrumental in a project involving relocation from an existing unreliable and unstable application to a new version based on MS-SQL. (Project was in a `disaster recovery mode'). Successfully redefined the project of relocation from current to a new version. Improved the scope of the development project in accordance with short term priorities.
    * Oversaw various aspects including functional coverage, data model, defining the migration path from current to new version, planning, on-site project management and ensuring smooth liaison between CC users, CC Technology department and suppliers; leveraged on extensive technical expertise to execute the project with duration of 6 months.

    * Played a focal role in the relocation and maintenance of existing tax-applications from Unisys host to Unix (HP/UX). Enabled programming of new user-requested applications and interfacing with new tax-application in Java.
    * Developed documentation and rules/policies of federal importance to follow in development and structure.
    * Supervised development of some utilities for OCR processing of documents in MS Visual C++; project duration: 8 months.
