Osamnia Mohamed (Ossa) is currently working as a project Assistant at at the National Institute of Informatics. His main research interests include the e-Learning systems based on the on-line presentations under the low-speed internet by improving the Client-Server architectures to decrease the data transfers.
Recently, he is a Ph.D Student in Informatics at the National Institute of Informatics, affiliated to the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI). he worked under the supervision of Professor Haruki Ueno and Hitoshi Okada since October 2012. His PhD thesis research focused on developing a new automated authoring system to generate e-Learning contents automatically based on the synchronization between the presenter video and the slides presentation. Furthermore, develop a new e-Lecture platform that can support wide number of users in real-time communication. His research is based on the WebELS platform that was created at the National Institute of Informatics.
