• Jacobs Engineering - QA/QC Supervisor

  Pasadena 2011 - 2013 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare the Inspection & Test Plans according to specifications and arrange related forms according to ITPs.
  • Follow up the missing subcontractor documentation for all disciplines.
  • Subcontractor structural, mechanical and piping documentation check and approve including procedure, inspection & test plan.
  • Preparation, Review & approval of WPS, PQR and other welding procedures.
  • Prepare and issue necessary documentation for 3rd Party Control Company for piping , tanks and equipment works.
  • Supervision of all welding and NDT activities as per QA/QC norms.
  • Following of ASME quality documentation and progress monitoring.
  • Issue, approve and prepare Piping Hydrotest packages, witnessing the hydrotests for client review and approval.
  • Approve reinstatement works for piping after hydrotest.
  • Qualification of Welders as per ASME Sec. IX. Witnessing and approving welder qualification.
  • Implementing and maintaining QA/QC system in compliance with Project Specification & Project Quality Policy.
  • Co-ordination between the client (Maroc Phosphore S.A.) & contractor (TEKFEN).
  • Raise NCR for non-conformance noticed, keep and report the overall NCR log to the management and client.
  • Welding-Witnessing the Fit-up and pre-welding checks, during welding monitor the parameters as per WPS, Post weld inspection if required and final weld inspection, NDT.
  • Controlling of welding consumables & documents.
  • NDT Co-ordination, Final interpretation of reports.
  • Verify and approve the weld log updating.
  • Follow up material certificates in Smart Certificate Log and General welding documentations (PQR, WPS, WPQR, Filler Material Certificates, Calibration Certificates etc..)
  • Maintain and approve all the quality records for Mechanical discipline including mechanical installation reports, welding, NDT, Painting, Hydrotest reports.
  • Approve and release Turn Over Packages for the mechanical systems to the Commisioning Manager.
  • Co-ordinate and Carryout the punch listing with the contractors and client, keep and report to the management and client, the overall Punch List for the project.
  • Control as-built documentation for mechanical works.
  • Prepare the Turn Over Packages including Mechanical and Piping for the Client.
