    2007 - maintenant In my present function, my main responsibility is to promote and distribute print and online products in Switzerland and abroad. I liaise with authors to discuss the promotion of their books, organise book presentations, attendance at book fairs and lectures. I also regularly contact th media to assure the release of press reviews. I am also fully responsible for the handling of our website. I organise e-mailing campaigns. I am currently working on the translation of the content of our website into English.

  • Taylor & Francis - Managing Editor

    2004 - 2006 My main responsibility was to manage and develop a list of high-profile academic journals in Education. I have set budgets, improved and increased profit margins, agreed extents and frequency with academic editors, and negotiated publication fees and royalties. I have also maintained effective liaison with editors and editorial boards, including attendance at UK and international board meetings and conferences. My professional contacts have enabled me to negotiate contracts and acquire new publications.

  • Peter Lang - Commissioning Editor

    2001 - 2004 As part of a closely-knit team of editors, designers, production and publicity personnel I have developed the company's academic book programme in the Humanities and Social Sciences. I have liaised with authors, attended conferences to commission new manuscripts in the areas of Linguistics, Vocational and Continuing Education, Politics and International Relations. I have also managed publications through the production process and have ensured the timely delivery and distribution of the books. I have been responsible to design and check cover art and proofread blurbs and title pages for clarity and sense.
