Member of several scientific associations. Project leader of several advanced industrial projects (WINFLO, PyWec, Bombardier Project ...).
My research is currently focused on 3 themes. The first is the integration of nanomaterials into composite structures to improve their mechanical, thermal and electrical performance. The second concerns multi-scale theoretical and numerical modelling of multiphysically coupled materials such as intelligent materials and structures. In parallel I work on the durability and repair of composite structures. And finally on the study of composites performance for marine renewable energies such as wind power, tidal turbine and wave energy. The published works have contributed significantly to answering scientific issues related to the use of composite materials in different sectors of activity.
