En résumé

Je suis française d'origine lao-thaïe, et diplômée d'un Master 2 en Management, coopération et consultation en Asie du sud-est, que j'ai obtenu en 2006 à l'Université Charles De Gaulle de Lille.

Je suis également titulaire d'une Maîtrise de science politique, d'une licence d'administration publique et d'un BTS Action commerciale. Je me passionne pour tout ce qui est du droit, de la politique en générale mais aussi le commerce.

En 2006, dans le cadre de mes études, j'ai eu l'occasion de vivre six mois au Laos. Cela m'a permise de mieux connaître ce pays (hors cadre touristique), et m'a également permise d'avoir une expérience sur le terrain très riche professionnellement et humainement dans différents domaines (la communication dans l'hôtellerie, l'aide au développement).

Ma grande passion dans ma vie c'est l'Asie, et particulièrement le Laos, la Thaïlande, le Vietnam, le Cambodge, dont j'apprécie beaucoup les cultures et traditions. Je maîtrise le laotien et le thaïlandais (écrit et oral). Aussi je mets cette compétence linguistique au service des tribunaux et autres administrations ici en France. Sans aucun doute, j'ai encore beaucoup à faire pour m'améliorer dans ce domaine là, et ce travail d'interprète traductrice y contribue.

J'aimerais pouvoir avoir l'opportunité de retourner travailler au Laos ou en Thaïlande, car je me sens vraiment à l'aise là bas, et cette expérience de quelques mois a été formidable pour moi. Je pense m'y être bien adaptée.

    2008 - 2008 I worked on a Garment Project: Support the shift of the Garment Industry from the CMT to FOB, for the ITC in Vientiane (LAO PDR)

    My main responsibility was to assist the international Coordinator of the project to:
    • Supervise and coordinate all technical inputs from International, Regional and National consultants under the project’s activities,
    • Coordinate and oversee the work of the Department of Production and Trade Promotion (Ministry of Commerce of Lao PDR) and the Association of the Lao Garment Industry and provide them with guidance through the duration of the project, work closely with them to enable their capacity building,
    • Ensure regular reporting on project implementation to ITC Geneva and Lao Government,
    • Ensure a good communication and linkage with ITC Geneva for any prospective problem areas during the project implementation,
    • Ensure timely implementation of project activities.
  • Prosperity Initiative (PI) - Project Officer

    2008 - 2009 I worked as a Project Officer on a Bamboo Handicraft Project in Vientiane (LAO PDR) for Prosperity Initiative (P.I).

    Prosperity Initiative is a ground-breaking program fighting poverty in Vietnam, Lao PDR and Cambodia by accelerating the development of market sectors that deliver value to the poor. Its work will create greater economic choice for poor communities resulting in a demonstrable impact on poverty at a large scale. The flagship programme, the Mekong Bamboo (MB) aims to bring up to one million people out of poverty by growing and improving the competitiveness of the bamboo sector.


    I was in charge of a Bamboo Handicraft Project in Lao PDR.
