Affiliated with the Build & Release team of the Multimedia Computers business unit at the very end of the software development cycle, managing the activities allowing the use in production of end-user software components.
Interfacing between the team and the projects participants, I delivered software and provided technical support to test teams, R&D teams and production lines through the following main activities:
- Software Development Kits creation: creation and support of Symbian based SDKs provided to third parties
- Product Data Management: organized the production database to allow automated access to the latest phone software
- Software Packaging: created and distributed self-installer software packages to ease phone customisations
