Msc in computer science (Ingénieur Civil Informaticien), I graduated from the ULg. I spent several years in the U.K. and worked as Network Engineer for Dante Ltd. I am now responsible of the coordination of the development of a suite of web-services and clients to support the network operation. The development is performed by a destributed group of people located in 15 countries. I am also in charge of the establishment of a service support infrastructure for the developed software (ITIL).

    2010 - maintenant I covered different types of projects:
    - Product launch (RFP, IT integration, user assistance (user guide, FAQs), Customer Care training)
    - Technology deployment projects (RFP, supplier selection, contract negociation, technology deployment, update the Customer Care procedures)
    - Supplier selection (scoping of the project, pilote, approach definition, RFP, suppliers selection, supplier follow up)
    - Customer changes projects (coordination of the approach, problem solving, follow up of the customer changes (modem swap, analog and digital TV programs changes)
    - Technical environment projects (find a new site, create a new generation of technical environment, site migration).

    2009 - 2010 Process Management (ITIL, CMMI).

  • Dante - Project Manager

    2004 - 2009 My main task is on the coordination of the development of 18 tools and web-services. The development is carried out by 11 FTEs spread over 25 people from 15 international companies. Amongst other tasks, I have been involved in
    - Project planning;
    - Tasks definition;
    - Resources estimation and allocation;
    - Tasks coordination and follow-up;
    - Long term vision and objective focus keeping;
    - Overall organisation and steering of international meetings.
    - Definition of a service support infrastructure according to the ITIL best practices.

  • DANTE - Network Engineer

    2000 - 2004 I worked in the Planning Team that designed the GÉANT2 network and its network services. I was mainly involved in routing, IP Quality of Service and monitoring aspects. I also contributed to the EGEE (GRID computing) and SEQUIN (IP QoS) European projects.
