Responsible for all activities relating to the Remedy Action Request System in the EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre, covering installation, support and maintenance of Remedy Action Request System. Development of new applications for SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) collaborating with ATM companies throughout Europe. Support, maintenance and development of new and existing applications internal to EUROCONTROL. Migration of Helpdesk V3 to Helpdesk V5.6 with Asset Management in production environment. Migration to ITSM V7 in development environment.
Customisation to HelpDesk and ITSM Suite as well as custom reporting and intergration with non-Remedy applications. Support of other software tools such as Quality Centre and DOORS and integration of Remedy with other applications such as CM/Synergy and Oracle.

Remedy Administrator and Consultant (Independent Consultant With Modis International)
Main activities were to provide the day-to-day administration, management and support of Remedy Corporation's Action Request System to all the users within the EEC, the CRDS Centre in Budapest, Hungary and to those external clients of the EEC that use the system. Support for Remedy ITSM Suite, modified to the needs of Eurocontrol, and to the 30+ applications developed in- house.
The Remedy ARS System is linked to the EUROCONTROL Corporate LDAP Server and to various applications used at the EEC such as the GMAO-SAM System used for managing infrastructure requests, the Human Resources Database and the Software Configuration Management Application, CM/Synergy. Experience of all versions of ARS from version 3.2.1, up to and including ,Version 6. Software Configuration Management support using CM/Synergy is given. This included server and database maintenance as well as advice on use of the product.

Main activities were to provide the sole computing support within the Civil Engineering Department for all computing needs. Responsible for the design and implementation of a small (50) PC network using Novell Netware 3.11. together with the link between the Department and the Central Computing Services.
Also undertook research and consultancy into Non-Destructive Testing techniques as applied to the Civil Engineering industry. This included consultancy and collaborations with companies in the USA (Geophysical Survey Systems Incorporated), Italy (Polytechnic of Milan, Department of Structural Engineering) and Switzerland (CERN) as well as within the UK Civil Engineering industry (Ove Arup, Tarmac, Stent Foundations, Transport and Road Research Laboratories).
This work also involved the supervision of postgraduate research students undertaking work in the Non-Destructive Testing field.
