Principal Responsibilities
since Fev 2009 Responsible of Department Radio Network Optimization
1. GSM Counter and KPI Set up Analysis
2. Performance Monitoring and Tuning of GSM network based on KPI
3. To Identify the Customer Requirements on the Report Customization
4. Day to day monitoring of major KPIs at BSC and cell level – SDCCH drop, TCH Drop, SDCCH Congestion,
TCH Congestion, TCH Assignment Success Rate, Handover Successful Rate.
5. Evaluation the radio network from a GPRS perspective with input of operator specific data such as; -
GSM network statistics (STS),- drive test data analysis with TEMS Investigation 7.1.1 and,- prediction of
the interference generated by GSM.
6. Analysis the radio network performance by collecting and analyzing statistics via SPOTS (Support for
Planning, Operation & Maintenance and Traffic Analysis) and Recommend actions for radio network
expansion and corrective measure.
7. Using statistics to forecast the future growth of Network.
8. Using statistics to identify the congested parts of the radio network.
9. Check consistency, and to find any radio network optimization faults and gives recommendations for
correction. (Using TEMS Investigation 7.1.1 Data Collection and RNO tools).
10. Change radio network parameters by using Radio Commander, COMMAND HANDLER in OSS.
11. Provide all kinds of performance reports for BSCs as per customers requirements
12. Ensure a healthy radio network performance by regular analysis and sanity checks, using statistics
from the radio network.
