2008 - 2012I managed the export activities of the company. My main tasks included following up and reinforcing business partnerships with our local wholesalers, informing them about new collections, promotions, pricing structures and commercial terms and conditions. My role involved making regular business trips in order to meet with our overseas customers and analysing the market by coordinating regular store-checks. My responsibilities also included seeking out and contacting new distribution networks. Despite the economic crisis, export department revenue has increased by 18% between 2006 and 2011.

I also managed the main showroom in Brussels (Trade Mart) and participated at major retail fairs (Babyboom Brussels, Kind und Jungend Cologne).

2002 - 2007My main responsibility was managing the accessory collections and updating them with new products. My role included leading negotiations with suppliers about their products, prices, terms and conditions, and marketing strategies. I was responsible for sourcing products at fairs and negotiating deals with European suppliers as well as with our trading company in Hong Kong. I managed OPAL which is the merchandising software used by Impex Northern Europe to optimise the in-store presentation and display of their products. I also produced regular purchasing and sales statistics.

1997 - 2002I was responsible for a sales team of 6 people. My role included managing the monthly organisation and planning of the team and holding sales meetings and presentations. I managed the implementation of regular assortment and effective promotions within the stores. I was responsible for the recruitment and training of new staff and evaluating the sales targets. I also managed OPAL (merchandising software as mentioned above).

In addition to this, from January 1996, I was the key account manager of Cactus, Auchan, Match, and Dema: my responsibilities included negotiating collections, promotions and commercial terms and conditions.
