    Boulogne-Billancourt 2009 - 2012 - Provide leadership in the strategic management of reward in West Africa Area (comprising of 25 countries) in support of achieving overall business objectives. Responsibilities included engaging business units leadership teams and managing for results, two (2) Board Compensation Committees.- A member of the Human Resources function leadership team for the area, responsible for articulating and driving the function's strategy.- Localisation of reward schemes in line with end market peculiarities. This covers actively using reward to engage employees - employee involvement in sample selection for benchmarking,use of targeted samples as appropriate, incentive scheme participation, segmentation of reward communication and branding.- Benefit schemes designs including employee medical schemes, retirement provisioning, elective benefits e.t.c. and change management support required.- Non-monetary recognition scheme design. (Designed and implemented scheme for the Area that outperformed the BAT Group and 25 other global high performing organizations based on a Towers Watson managed climate survey)- Drafting and communication of reward policies aligned to local regulations. - Overall responsibility for HR services delivery within the West Africa Area using our HR shared services platform. In the period, worked with the team to deploy innovative business centred solutions e.g. online solutions for salary review administration, leave and medical scheme e.t.c. Key achievements include reduction in the cost of HR services and HR services headcount. - Design and implementation a governance framework for the reward area (RACI) based on Group guidelines.- Contribute to regional reward initiatives and shaping of the reward agenda in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region as a member of the Regional Reward team.
