We are a French couple with a passion for wildlife. Between us we speak five of the European languages, Anne-Christine having started out in a career as a linguist. Pascal educational background is in Biochemistry which has involved him in studies relating to the decontamination of the Seine, plastics recovery and recycling amongst other environmental issues. We have been active conservationists for a number of years travelling to places such as Sri Lanka, Ghana, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and of course Kenya carrying out whatever volunteer work available in the name of conservation. Both have Field Guide diplomas from the Field Guide Association of South Africa as well as Wildlife management and game ranging from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. In 2003 we co-founded the NGO Des Elephants et Des Hommes (‘Of Elephants and Men’, supporting elephant conservation field projects).
The next obvious step for us was to move into the tourism industry which allowed us to make a home of Africa and follow our passion. Hippo Point has afforded us this opportunity, then The River Club in Zambia. That was our most recent position as a management couple for this up-market lodge in Livingstone. However we are now seeking another position which would bring new challenges.
