Bonjour,
Greetings,
I am a French native (Normandy) and I have been living in London for the past 30 years.
Graduate educated (UCL), I am a registered Member of the Tutors' Association (MTA). I have been tutoring French as a foreign language for 7 years, following a complete change of direction working for 7 years as a freelance Translator/Proof-reader for UN/EU International Organizations in the UK and the Netherlands.
My experience includes working as a private/school-based tutor, and as an Exam Moderator/Assessor. I have gained valuable classroom experience and, as a private tutor, I predominantly prepare students for public and independent examinations (levels: 13+ CE, scholarships, GCSE/IGCSE, SAT, A level, IB ab initio/standard, Undergraduate, DELF Prim/Junior/Senior). Students have successfully gained entry in Senior Schools (Winchester, St. Paul’s, King’s Wimbledon, etc.). While I specialise in school exams, I also offer corporate and residential tutorials (mainly over half-terms).
Finally, when I do not teach, I attend CPD events, retain my passion for music and take part in singing workshops.
To learn more about my background, and teaching experience, please do not hesitate to contact me. You might also be interested to read various personal references from current and former students, which I hope will give you some idea of my teaching demeanour. I look forward to hearing from you and to helping your progress in French.
All the best,
Patricia
