Saisie par la photographie à l'âge de 12 ans, c’est par le voyage et plusieurs périples dans le Sahara Algérien que cette passion prend naissance.
Photographe autodidacte dans divers domaines culturels allant du festival de Jazz à Juan au Festival International du Film de Cannes, j'excerce mon activité en tant que professionnelle à mon arrivée sur la Côte d'Azur en 1989 .
J'ai découvert la photographie marine lors de régates régionales, et c’est pendant la Nioulargue dans le golfe de St Tropez que mon coup de foudre pour les « Classiques » voit le jour.
La mer ranimait en moi les sensations perçues dans le désert, n'ayant jamais navigué auparavant.
Mes premières publications confirment alors mon choix de devenir photographe marine.
N'hésitant pas à embarquer pour faire le tour des manifestations maritimes en Méditerranée, aux Antilles, ou à Newport
Fervente admiratrice des yachts de tradition, j'essaie au travers de mes photos de mettre en valeur "l'âme des Classiques", au travers de ma sensibilité féminine.
Collaboratrice de nombreux magazines spécialisés, et de maisons d'édition, mes photos sont alors publiées à travers le monde.
Patricia Lascabannes was captured by photography at the age of 12, she arrived on the French Riviera in 1989 where she undertook the pursuit of her passion for the light.
Self-taught photographer in various fields ranging from cultural events like the Jazz Festival in Juan, the International Cannes Film Festival, and several outings in the Algerian desert, sparked in her this avid genuine sensibility and sincerity felt in her work.
Patricia began marine photography at different regional races and during the “Nioulargue” regatta in the Gulf of St Tropez her love for the "Classic" was born.
Her first publications then confirm her choice to become a marine photographer.
Without hesitation she embark for a tour of maritime events, she sailed the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Atlantic to share and portrait her passion.
Unconditional fan of classic yachts Patricia puts her feminine sensibility through her pictures that illuminate the imprint of a poem and highlight "the soul of the Classics."
Contributor to many magazines, her work is published around the world.
