Partnership and adviser to the logistic and transportation French Fédération (TLF) and to the national council of the automotive industry (CNPA vehicle rental activity).

    Professional training for top management team: 2 exclusive courses related to automobile financial risk management (110 firms trained + nb 1 truck lease network).
  • Hertz France - Operational Risk Manager

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 1993 - 1997 Risk manager of the first car rental company in France and worldwide

    Insurance department start up, within a captive then insurance company (under new European laws) - Global risk and insurance management and optimization. Claims management and reporting software set up. Automobile material and bodily injuries claims management.

    National and global risks database set up – Risk analysis and reporting, with special focus on commercial business, operations and insurance.

    National action plan to reduce accident costs (2nd most important cost for the company) – 40% savings on insurance premiums after 2 years – deductibles billed to customer increased x 10.

    Direct reporting to the French CEO, to the Hertz Europe Risk Manager and the US corporate Risk Manager for bodily injury claims.

    25 000 vehicles - 140 locations - €15 million insurance budget - € 1.5 million deductible billing –24 000 claims / year – 13 employees (23 at present)
