  • Onyx Alexandria - Project Manager

    2001 - 2003 March 2002 to December 2003 Alexandria Egypt: Project Manager for ONYX (VES).
    •Started the 2nd phase of the sanitary landfill works (tenders, negotiations, realisation of the contracts).
    •Involved with the assessment of the Urban Cleaning budgets 2003.
    •Conducted studies & controls to optimisation efficiency, costs, and quality for the current collect and sweeping procedures.
    •In charge of the operation reporting department.
    •Carried out feasibility studies and financial offers for potential new contracts.
    •Project development of the new compost plant (15t/h, 1M€ of investment).


    April 2001 to March 2002 : Engineer for ONYX Alexandria (as part of my military obligation).
    •Involved with the start of general urban cleansing contract for ONYX in Alexandria. In charge of the sanitary landfill (capacity 1 Mt /year, 1,5 M€ of works).
    •Also finalised contracts with the contractors, followed up on the site works. And then started the operation of the site, participated in the training of local staff.

  • Thames Water - Intern

    2000 - 2000 Reading, England: Intern for Thames Water (3 months project).
    •In charge of assessing the possibility of the commercial exploitation of underground water resources within the area of North Waste Water.
    •Had to estimate the quality of these resources, their treatment required, the means to distribute the water, and profile the potential customers
