I have 24 years of socks, knitwear apparel industry experience in product development, garment fit, materials, quality assurance and sourcing. Trained by Italians for socks manufacturing.

I am willing to work from Asia with 100% travelling.

I have –

Travelled to and worked on site with manufacturers of apparel, knitwear and socks across Asia, Africa and Europe. I travelled widely around Asia and Africa, I have been to China, S.Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India, visited many factories for social standard system audit, training and quality assurance & control and have very good business relationship with apparel, knitwear and socks manufacturers in Asia.

Very good and strong technical knowledge in Apparel, knitwear, socks and hosiery.

Strong technical knowledge of performance product construction, fit, and materials.

Strong technical construction knowledge for product manufacturing, good team player, knowledge of x-functional team accountabilities and requirements, including design, materials, sourcing, merchandising and quality assurance, experienced in building BOM’s, measurement and tech packages.

Strong computer skills (Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft office applications and Outlook) Knowledge of product creation calendar timeline and able to work against deadlines.

I am an Indian national from Chennai India, I did my Textile Technology at college level, I can speak English fluently, apart from this languages, I can speak good Hindi and Tamil, and now learning mandarin Chinese.

At present working from India for an European sports wear apparel importer, travel around India and remotely controlling China quality assurance, major share of orders placed in Tiruppur, South India, managing around 300,000 garments pieces per month for basic knits for men, women and kids, (T-shirts, sweat pants, leggings, hoody, socks 200K pairs / month).

I am responsible for identifying new factories, product development, sourcing, quality assurance, lab testing, 3rd party quality and compliance audit, factory audit (social and compliance), T&A plan, follow up with factories for production and sampling, visiting factories for pre, during and post production meetings, inline and final audits and shipments.

I am open for 100% travelling, willing to travel at short call, travelled around Asia and Europe. I am open to work at any level, hope my education and experience suits your exact requirements and assure you that I perform at my best level.
