Antimony trioxide is primarily used as a flame retardant additive in plastics, rubber and textiles. It has been a key component in the growth of the use of plastics - all polymers - wherever protection against fire is needed, for the safety of people and installations, such as in infrastructure, aerospace, electronics and transportation.
With about 110 employees, AMG Antimony, is also a highly specialized manufacturer of a wide range of masterbatches (www.amg-antimony.com).
