I’m working currently for SCHLUMBERGER (Mud-logging segment), an international leader in oil field services as a Mudlogging Analyst.
My duties involve but are not limited to the following:
• Carry out the collection, the processing and description of the cuttings samples according to the client specifications.
• Assist in core recovery and help the well-site geologist for core description.
• Assist in the efficient acquisition of the well data during the operations.
• In charge of monitoring, recording and processing all well data and parameters
• In charge of maintaining sensors, gas equipment and data acquisition equipment.
• Ensure the design of an accurate and comprehensive Masterlog according to the client format
• Closely ensure primary well control and, when appropriate, secondary kick control monitoring. Maintain the well data integrity and reliability.
• Update all logs and information required for the Final well report
• Help to build and maintain effective teamwork.
• Share experience and knowledge with less experience colleagues, and supervise Sample catchers.
• Ensure the highest standard of professional conduct at the well site by implementing safety regulations and procedures, as specified by the client, SLB and relevant safety authorities.
• Provide quality answers and solutions to the customer questions, requests, or problems pertinent to the scope of the services delivery provided.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the clients to ensure continuing business
