  2003 - 2005 * Assist the Crane Operator with the rigging of equipment, supplies, tubular, pipe and casing that needs to be moved or relocated throughout the rig.
  * Inspects and rigs loads using slings, tag lines, chains, shackles, lift caps, hooks, chain binders, etc.; hooks and unhooks the crane from slings, equipment, etc..
  * Assist in handling and mixing mud and chemicals safely, and disposes of debris properly.
  * Fills in as a relief worker for the drill crew. ;
  * Greases and maintains the hatches, wedges, fire flaps, and cargo gear.
  * Assist in assembling, dismantling, maintaining and lubrication deck machinery and other equipment.
  * Organizes equipment and materials on the deck to provide adequate working area.
  * Maintenance, washing, and cleaning up of the drilling rig which can include, but not limited to, chipping and painting decking and equipment. ;
  * Prepares surfaces for painting using power tools; selects and uses proper equipment. ;
  * Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2001 - maintenant * Experience in exploration and development drilling well ;
  * Inspects, and maintains all traveling and rotating equipment (Draw works, Top Drive, handling tools, etc.)
  * Operates drilling equipment and ensures safe and efficient procedures are followed during rig up/down and drilling operations.
  * Inspects rig up/down of derrick and associated equipment; checks mud properties and flow.
  * Monitors drilling conductor hole, surface hole, and main hole.
  * Trips and monitors drilling string; runs and monitors cement casing.
  * Manipulates the control console on the rig floor. ;
  * Operates the pumps during the well control operation; records data on the Well Control Record.
  * Performs inspections of drilling and pump equipment as required; reports and/or takes appropriate action on all potential hazards.
  * Checks the operation of the slow pump rates in accordance with established procedures.
  * Take immediate actions to shut down drilling operations and secure well in case of a blowout.
  * Completes the IADC and daily reports; prepares handover notes for relief drilling Staff.
  * Ensure all BOP and Diverter test information, and documentation, test charts are properly finished.
  * Assist with the maintenance and repairs to the rig floor equipment.
  * Organizing, controlling, supervising and directing all activities on the drill floor, in the mud room and mud pump room.

• Saipem Drilling Algeria Branch - Assistant driller

  Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2001 - maintenant * Supervises casing operations, including stab casing, lining up threads, valves, pumps and fluid system, casing fill-up, mixing, and monitoring returns.
  * Inspects Top Drive, torque equipment, and related equipment for proper functioning.
  * Assists in nippling, maintaining, and repairing blowout prevention (BOP) equipment.
  * Assists in other areas of the drilling operation as directed.
  * Acts as a lead in the pump area, mud pits, and rig floor based on direction from the Driller.
  * Ensures correct safety procedures are followed; assists in training drill crew.
  * Directs and coordinates crew members in the performance of work duties and priorities.
  * Prepares required work permits, risk assessments and ensures Stop Work Authority and Job Safety Environmental Analyses usage.
  * Schedules equipment maintenance and repair with other department personnel, such as Drillers, Electricians, and Crane Operators.
  * Prepares handover notes for relief staff. ;
  * Performs all duties in accordance with the Permit to Work system.
  * Supervising the Roustabout assigned to assist in these areas.
  * Provide occasioned relief to the Floorman on the drill floor.
  * Provides assistance in other areas of drilling operations as directed.
  * Provide occasional relief to the Driller when trained. ;
  * Performs other duties and special projects as requested by management.
