I am a former Architect and tenured Professor of Architectural Design and CAAD with over 13 years of experience working in eLearning. My specialties include eLearning design and development, program and project management, instructional design, risk and stakeholder management, business analysis and multicultural design and teams. I am fully capable to apply cross-cultural competency to instructional design projects. Solid understanding and experience with adult learning and instructional design theories, methods and tools.
I also have great interest in Building Information Modeling (software and management).
When I’m not on the job, I love sketching and photographing the city, reading books, learning new things, indulging my love for The Criterion Collection, and playing heavy German-style strategy board games with my wife and friends.
You’ll find Socrates, Aristotle, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Karl Popper, Isaac Asimov, Edgar Allan Poe, and many other philosophers, scientists and writers on my bookshelf.
Nowadays I have two particular research interests:
- Effective ways to use eLearning to teach and transfer critical thinking skills; and
- Using eLearning and collaborative tools to integrate Kaizen (continuous improvement, reducing waste and simplifying processes) into non-manufacturing businesses.
