  • IBM SWG, France Lab - Software Engineer

2012 - maintenant Specialized in Mobile development.
  • IBM - IT Transformation Manager

Bois-Colombes 2012 - 2012 Managing a team of up to 7 people, IT Specialists and IT architects.

My current mission is to gradually transform the France Lab IT into a scalable & cost-effective IBM-compliant one for Dev., Support and Service Lab Users. This role involves the finalization of IT rationalization projects, i.e. decommissioning of the main production room in Gentilly and the migration of 250+ servers to the new data center I designed in la Gaude; the virtualization of the AIX and Solaris platforms with PSeries and Oracle/Sun solutions respectively; the unification of authentication methods for UNIX/Linux and Windows hosts using single France Lab NIS/Kerberos and Windows 2008 redundant repositories. Additionally, I am working on the replacement of the custom and open source solutions with IBM SWG recommended tools (ITM, ITIM). The current project I am managing is the setup of a Cloud solution based on CITM and SCP in collaboration with the Hursley Lab and in line with the SWG Cloud strategy. I also continuously contribute to the assessment and improvement of the IT governance, service & asset management: I am currently working on the setup of the shared Capex process.
  • IBM - IT Infrastructure Manager

Bois-Colombes 2009 - 2011 Managing a team of up to 11 people, IT Specialists and IT architects.

I managed the ILOG IT Infrastructure integration in France led by the Integration team in the US. I designed the BSO networks and defined the BFS security rules in collaboration with AT&T. I ensured continious ITCS104 compliance of all IT equipment and led the development of solutions that automated most of ITCS104 compliance tasks and controls. I managed the IT rationalization projects by designing and implementing a new data center in la Gaude whose goal was to replace 2 legacy ILOG Gentilly and Sophia Antipolis production server rooms that were obsolete but also by virtualizing 80% of the physical servers and reducing by 100 the total number of servers. I designed the new VMware vSphere 5 infrastructure based on X-Series equipment and DB2 and managed the project to replace the legacy Veritas NetBackup solution with TSM. I was in charge of the Capex solutioning for several SWG Brands.
  • Ilog - Information System Manager

2007 - 2009 Managing the WW activity “IT Test & Integration” whose goal was to define the architecture of IT applications and validate the solutions before their load into production. Managing the IT Infrastructure of Sophia Antipolis.

I created and managed the “IT Test & Integration” activity: I led 3 main projects and put on production Sharepoint, Customer support Extranet (CSE) and Inet2 applications.
As local IT Infrastructure team manager I set up the new VMware Virtual Infrastructure based on Virtual Center & ESX 3.5, NetApp SAN/NAS controllers and Oracle DB and initiated the server rationalization project by virtualizing obsolete machines. I also designed the monitoring and graphing solution based on nagios/Cacti and set up a new DMZ.
  • Sogeti - IT Consultant

Issy-les-Moulineaux 2000 - 2007 IT Consultant for several clients: Amadeus, Air France, EuroControl, Accenture

I also managed the centralization of Oracle DB and CVS source code to Linux servers (Effort: 5m*m).
During my mission at Amadeus, I specialized in UNIX System Performance Management and tuned the OS supporting DB and development tools in collaboration with both DBA and developers.
At Air France, I developed a tool in Perl OO whose goal was to ensure homogenous configurations of heterogeneous platforms. Those developments relied on the CfEngine open source product.
At Eurocontrol (Brussels), I was part of a Sun Microsystem team and focused on the migration of print related programs from Cobol on GCOS7 Mainframe to Solaris scripts and C code.
At Accenture, I set up the entire IT Infrastructure of their newly created subsidiary IBL (Imagine Broadband Ltd) and ensured support to developers on Unix/Linux servers, Oracle databases and specific network equipment.
