  1996 - 2002 Main activities and responsibilities:
  * Starting of a new oil & gas plant undertaking all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operation activities. ;
  * Shut down and start-up with commissioning and de- commissioning (for decennial inspection). ;
  * Carry out outside operating activities in the whole plant on assigned shift involving start-up, shutdown and routine operation of a variety of equipments. ;
  * Perform patrol duties at predetermined intervals to check operating conditions of equipments and report anomalies.
  * Ensure that all production procedures, safety and environment regulations are followed, and recommend modifications and improvements as necessary.
  * Control and monitor the safe operations of machinery equipment to achieve optimum production of a quality specification product.
  * Adhere to all required procedures and ensure site maintenance work to be carried out safely.
  * Carry out other similar or related duties such as calculating running hours of various equipments for historical data maintenance purposes.
  * Delivery gauge and export certificate. ;
  * Maintain plant in good working condition including standby equipment. Initiate work request to various Maintenance Departments giving priority of jobs to be performed, coordinate with all departments in daily meeting and plan for the next day's jobs. Clear work request after satisfactory job completion. Assist new operators for training.
  * Control and supervise the assigned shift teams of operators, senior operators and senior panel operators covering Oil and Gas treatment, Oil Export and Gas Re-injection. Ensure production targets are met and that the plant runs smoothly, efficiently, economically and safely.
  * Pre-commissioning Commissioning and start-up of two reciprocating Compressors (Nuovo Pignone) driven by two electric motors (Type: CT 710 X 6 - Voltage: 5,500V).
  * Pre-commissioning Commissioning and start-up of a thermal fluid Boiler (PIROBLOC).
  * Make sure products are well stored and treated (homogenizing, heating and blending).
  * Keeping products at specific temperatures, checking density, performs measurements and save information, or report this information to the shift leader.
  * Visual inspection of equipments, and identifying defects and jammings, problems, and reporting this information to the shift leader.
  * Contribute by remedying jamming: perform small repairs.
  * Make sure facility is clean, and free of obstacles, to allow maintenance work to be conducted safely. ;

  * Shut down and start-up with commissioning and de-commissioning for different inspection (annual and triennial).
  * Ensure works are carried out in a safe manner and working condition.
  * Co-ordinate with various work interfaces such as maintenance construction and Lab investigation.
  * Execute and monitor shift to shift plant activities to meet targeted deadlines.
  * Assist control panel operator activities. ;
