    2013 - maintenant Traveling and meetings with existing customer. Visited potential new customer and
    improving the overall business structure. Liaise with UK Trade and Invest to get access
    to new leads. Preparation of Wholesale operation in Germany. Opening multi Retailer in
    Spain. Renegotiating existing agreements to improve profitability. Following on going
    business and shipments including full containers from India and China. Managing
    Export staff.

    2010 - 2011 Created my own company - Exporting vitamins / food supplements.
    Signed an agreement with Vitafree, a company from Hungary, started the wholesale of
    the range in England and sold their product range in Azerbaijan, Portugal and Africa.
  • Natural-Distribution Group - Export Manager

    2001 - 2010 With a background in Biology, I trained in Food Supplementation in the USA. Two
    months after starting work for Natural-Distribution Group, I was promoted to Export
    Manager. I started the export department from scratch, and ended up handling 21 open
    accounts. I was dealing directly with distributors of nearly all European countries,
    helping them to introduce new products, and visiting them regularly.
    My main duties included:
    - Managing transport logistic for import of organic products and all transport needs for
    the export business. (Concordia, Schenker, Dachser, Norbert d'Entressangle, DEFRA,
    Port Authorities etc...)
    - Organising all the documentation concerning organic import, and all related export
    documentation (Free sale certificate, EX1, T2L, OB11, OB12, Import authorisation,
    commodity codes etc...)
    - Managing all manufacturing needs for export against forecast to deliver orders on
    time. (Goods, boxes, labels, leaflets and marketing materials such as posters)
    - Managing all the customers relationships, emails, phone calls, meetings and trade
    shows.
    A few examples of my achievements as export manager :
    - Certified Organic products and sold them all over Europe as certified Organic:

    - Engaged with UK Trade and Invest, from whom I got a grant to exhibit in Switzerland.

    I was also responsible for ensuring the company and its products adhered to countryspecific Trading Standards. I kept a fruitful relationship with all the manufacturers in
    USA and France and advised them in product development, feedback and marketing
    strategies. I developed a certified organic cosmetic product, that today is selling at 10
    000 units / month : Organic Aloe Vera Gel 97%
    2010 Turnover of Export Department was 700 000 GBP .
  • S2EI - On Site QA Manager

    1998 - 2000 S2EI is a company providing high quality and specialised welding to businesses. The
    project was to prefabricate long compartment of pipeline that was shipped to Sweden. I
    was dealing with Quality control and on site management of workers abroad (around 50
    people). The welding needed to be verified and checked with x-rays. All information was
    then entered in a system following project development, and quality controls.
    I worked in Belgium and The Netherlands on different sites.
  • French Navy - Deck Quarter Officer & Signalman

    1990 - 1993 I saw active service in the first gulf war and was decorated. Our ship, the Frigate Jean
    de Vienne was involved alongside American forces in the Persian Gulf. I was a
    navigator, working on deck and the official photographer. I served two campaigns in the
    Persian Gulf and one campaign in the Adriatic Sea.
