S’il vous plaît, permettez-moi de me présenter. Je m'appelle Sarah van Ours et je suis Hollandaise. Depuis peu, j'etudie le francais dans le but de venir vivre à Paris. Toutefois, si cela vous convient, je vais me presenter en anglais.
I have completed my fashion design education at 'Artez Institute of the Arts' in Arnhem, the Netherlands. While enrolled, I completed a 4 month internship working as a print designer at Preen in London. After graduation, I started freelancing. I worked with great enthusiasm and dedication as a print- and fashion designer, fashion illustrator and technical illustrator for a variety of companies. Among these companies where trend forecasting, fashion and textile companies.
Together with a dear friend and colleague I founded the graphic and illustration bureau 'The Francolin'. We had various assignments and collaborations up until now, but I am ready for a new challenge.
I have a great love for fashion, prints, textiles and graphics, but also for designing concepts and translating trends and inspiration into styles. I find that the joy of wearing an item and the quality of a design, is as important as the visual aspect.
