    2011 - 2013 Created and launched the Axiom CEF UCITS Fund, a French regulated open-ended fund. The fund provided investors exposure to an absolute return, market neutral, mean reversion strategy which traded the volatility of discounts/premiums to NAV of CEFs.

    2009 - 2011 Closed end fund specialist responsible for non-activist, absolute return, market neutral strategies for segregated accounts. Opened Paris branch office for Laxey in 2009 (FSA Regulated).

  • Albion Asset Management, Paris - Co-Founder & CIO

    2005 - 2009 Co-Founder and Director of an independent investment management company specialising in absolute return, market neutral strategies trading the volatility of discounts/premiums to NAV of CEFs.

    Peak AUM US$125mn with total assets raised of over US$180mn.

    Responsible for the launch, portfolio management and marketing of The Albion Fund, an offshore Cayman-domiciled / Dublin-listed hedge fund plus a Director of the fund.

    Managed account for BNP Paribas.

    During this period I was also a Director of The Peninsular Alpha fund, an offshore Indian Equity Long/short fund.

    Managed The Albion Fund from ADI Gestion for 8 months, in addition to ADI Closed End Fund, a French regulated UCITS fund launched in Sept 2008.

    Paris 1998 - 2005 Responsible for creation, implementation and successful trading of proprietary relative-value, closed end fund book resulting in 6 years unbroken profitability with low volatility.

    Day to day responsibility for research, trading and hedging of all closed end fund strategies.

    Peak exposure of €175mn to closed end funds in market neutral strategies.
