• Implemented in C a MPEG-4 HE-AAC v2 decoder (audio codec) aimed at the digital
multimedia broadcast standards DAB+ and T-DMB.
• Benchmarked the decoder on an ARM9 platform by porting it to fixed-point.
• Integrated the decoder in the GPAC project and Recore's simulation model.

2008 - 2008• Studied a Visual Basic.Net monitoring program of an optical fiber drawing tower.
• Read the fiber diameter through a serial connection and added a computer controlled
moving mechanism for the monitoring camera.
• Designed a controller and its graphical user interface ensuring that the camera focuses on
the fiber during the drawing.
