It is with great enthusiasm that I apply for the position as account Manager.
I am currently the Forklift driver at IKEA Richmond and just graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Accounting. I wish to come back on my main domain by finding a position as an account manager / Sales Engineers. I am a hard working, team player who seeks to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
In my most recent position, to pay my study, I have worked efficiently as a part of the inbound team to provide an effective and safe logistics replenishment operation within the store. Working in the warehouse as well as on shop floor as a dispatcher, I have managed the daily volume of stock to ensure the best possible availability for the customer. I have worked closely with my leaders providing strong feedback and opportunities to improve the ways of working.
Previously, I was employed as a Sales Engineer where I was responsible for developing and promoting the company within the Eastern parts of France. During six years I have had to maintain the existing clients, following the customer expectation, found the right technical solution, made quotations, manage the order, following the production and manage the financial part of the contract. Whilst in charge of this area, sales increased by 30% in that time due to the hard work of the team. We were able to expand our customer base as we were able to deliver high quality products according to the requirements of each customer, on time.
After a couple of years within this position, I was promoted to Sales Engineer Manager, where I was in charge of my own sector and I managed a team of 6 people (Four sales engineers plus two Sales assistant). I took care of the training and frequently reviewed the performance of my team to ensure that we met our key performance targets.
I was also in charge to maintain the relationship with our suppliers, organise company’s exhibitions, and manage the firm’s external communication (Ads, Brochures, Website…)
