Over the last 15 years I was learning all I could about process engineering, my work was focused on creating breakthrough processes and technologies, applying and optimizing existing unit processes for new uses and defining scale-up rules, together with the intrinsic development and optimization of different analytical processes protocols.
After reviewing my enclosed CV, I hope you agree that my qualifications match your needs and consider me for the position. My credentials include:
- PhD in Chemical, Process and Environmental Engineering, based on the profitability/sustainability evaluation of environmentally friendly processing of renewable energies from photosynthetic organism, focused on separation technologies and physical properties studies.
- Over 5 years managing different European and international projects in Spain and France (biofuels and high value compound production from biomass as raw material).
- Bio-process industrialization (Alpha Biotech), improving nutraceutical extract production capacity from 600 to 10000kg/year.
- More than 10-year experience on biotechnological processes and optimization in up/downstream production of yeast, bacteria and microalgae at benchtop and pilot scale with stress on fermentation, separation and purification processes (membrane filtration techniques, chromatography, centrifugation, etc ).
- Academic education in Chemical Engineering with food technology orientation (BSc) and Biotechnology (MSc), which was an advantage to carry out the PhD project successfully.
- About 10 published papers in recognized scientific journals and over 10 national and international conferences participation.
I pursue a career in Research Engineering. My experience working in Argentina, Spain and France strengthened my need to apply my expertise in an interdisciplinary and international team. I am a creative person that thinks in a contemplative way about various issues of practical importance and is able to identify patterns and relationships that are not always obvious. I can perceive the balance between theory and practice which is an integral part of being a successful researcher.
I would like to be one of the persons working towards the answers to the challenging questions raised by Process Engineering and I am confident that I meet the demands the position requires.
