Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Silvia de Oliveira and I find myself ready for further challenges, please find as an attachment for the position of personal bilingual assistant you are offering.
I was born in France and my mother tongue is Portuguese. After having followed advanced studies in English in Paris, I have worked for six years in an English environment, always in contact with a diverse public which enabled me to acquire and further develop qualities of adaptability, organisation, and relational capacities.
From my seven year experience in a transport company to which I contributed to the creation, I acquired qualities which I wish to put into action and thus contribute to the development of the company I will be working for.
I then worked for three years at the Cabinet Plasseraud, a highly demanding environment as the personal assistant to a Partner of one of the most important European Patent and Trademark Firm in Europe. This experience has highly developed my sense of organisation, time management, working under pressure.
I have worked for two years at Orrick Rambaud Martel as the personal assistant of two Partners (in corporate and litigation). Providing high level client service; in charge of the organisation of trainee lawyer recruitment (collection of all résumés, distribution and follow-up to the different legal practice areas, organisation of interviews, mailing of the offers, welcoming new trainees on their arrival, creation of a data base to centralise the whole process.) Responsibilities attendant on the position of assistant to senior managing partners (administrative support, management of schedule and travel arrangements etc, organising meeting with foreign clients); the role entails of course a high degree of confidentiality.
I am now working at DLA Piper UK LLP as a bilingual trademark assistant for a Partner.
