    Paris 2017 - maintenant Country technico-commercial manager, responsible for all French market on electrical insulation resins: PU, Epoxy and Silicons, for casting&potting and impregnation applications. Elantas - Altana AG group - leader manufacturer of electrical insulating systems for industrial, automotive, railway applications. On my role I also coordinate two distributors and one agent.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSABILITIES:

    * -Drive growth of absolute CM with key accounts via new product platform introductions, optimising selling prices/margins, optimising cost to serve, searching for growth opportunities to replace alternative materials with PU technology
    * -Control the working capital / cash aspects (DSO's, overdues, payment terms, stock and consignment policy) to maximize cash generation for its relevant accounts
    * -Manage the Key Account / Account Team to secure the agreed KAP & market objectives in the most efficient way and apply resources appropriately
    * -Sign responsible as European Account Manager for the assigned Accounts. Where required, coordinate regional Account activities e. g. pricing, growth plans, projects, etc with your counterpart in other regions or Global Account Coordinators
    * -Collect, consolidate and regularly provide market intelligence about OEM's, Customers, competitors in terms of market share, relation to each other and possible opportunities and threats
    * -Maintain a regular contact with Customer Service and give decisions on any matters related to price adjustments, Allocation, Rebates, Payment and Delivery terms, complaints, etc

  • Huntsman Polyurethanes - Country Sales Manager France, Italy and Maghreb

    2006 - maintenant 2006 (September) – Today: Employed in Huntsman Polyurethanes– home office based in Lyon-France, Sales Account Manager South Europe – North Africa (France, Italy and Maghreb) for ACE polyurethanes product division (Adhesives, Coating and Elastomers applications). Also thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) granules and chips for plastic, adhesives and footwear applications.
    From November 2008 moved in France – Lyon - placed on Home Office in Lyon
    Responsibility in account management France, Italy and North African polyurethane market, total responsability 12 Mil EUR, budgeting sales and volumes forecasted, finding new market opportunities and assuring existing commercial results. Coordination of two distributors and one agent.
    Deep commercial & technical knowledge of polyurethane markets in adhesives, coating and elastomer applications, deep knowledge of thermo plastic polyurethanes markets for different applications.
    Management of distributors in Italy, in France, one agent for Morocco and Algeria, and three persons (one commercial assistant based in Belgium and two in Italy).
  • Prayon - Responsable Technico Commercial

    2003 - 2006 Employed in Prayon Italia - Milan as Technical Sales Responsible for pigments (zinc phosphates), zinc powder, ftalic anhydride, polymers and catalysts used in industrial coating, inks, plastic (pearl scents) and adhesives markets. Based in Milan but frequent in moving all around Italy, and in particular Lombardia, Piemonte and Veneto regions. Prayon is a brand supplier of Scott Bader, Cardolite, Lonwa, SNCZ, Silox, DAM and CMMP and Exxon (only for ftalic anhydride). Effectively commercial independence in making prices and customers following and developing. Moreover availability to work with customer service, warehouse and book-keeping.
  • 3V Sigma - Researcher & technical assistant

    2002 - 2003 : Employed in 3V Sigma - Bergamo - as researcher and technical assistant in analytical lab. Core businesses of the society were chemical additives produced and used for plastic materials, coating, paper, detergents and cosmetics. Here also in strictly contact with sales, plant process but employed in analytical lab with no final customer contact. Developed new analytical methodologies in particular in gas-chromatography and gas-masse analysis for the characterization and the development of new molecules.
  • ENI - Junior Researcher

    Lyon 1999 - 2002 : Employed in R&D Physical and Analytical Chemistry Lab of Polimeri Europa (called today Versalis - ENICHEM group) - San Donato Milanese (Milan) - as laboratory researcher. Laboratory was servicing technical assistance for final customers and internal production plants; and was also improving new analytical methodologies. Coordination of a team of 4 persons. Polimeri Europa's business was PE (all grades) and EVA, production and transformation. Developed, on this environment, the personal knowledge of all analytical techniques for polymers using FT-IR, DSC-TGA, GPC, GC, GC-MS. Knowledge also of mechanical analytical characterizations with INSTROM dynamometers, MFI, Izod impacts; knowledge of catalysts formulations / synthesis and polymer production processes.
