I am currently working as an engineer for a NGO specialized in Air quality. One of the first missions of this NGO is to evaluate the air quality in the Paris area working with industries and
government towards respecting current policies for air quality. My job consists in a wide range of missions from the evaluation of pollutant emissions in the region to the improvement of the knowledge on the particles formation.
Prior to this position, I was working as a research associate in the Centre for Atmospheric Chemistry in Toronto (Canada) which belongs to York University. Aside from my research in Atmospheric Chemistry,
I was managing two analytical chemistry laboratories and was responsible for the training of the
students in these labs. I was also supervising research projects of both graduate and undergraduate students. During these four years in the Centre for Atmospheric Chemistry, I was working with different analytical intrusments: mainly HPLC, GC-FID, GC-MS and GC-IRMS. The Measurements with GC-IRMS were taking place at the Meteorological Service of Canada where we analysed stable isotope composition of atmospheric samples.
Concerning my education, I did a Ph.D. in atmospheric chemistry and air pollution with two organizations in France. The first one, ENSIACET, is a university laboratory where I was carrying out the laboratory experiments of my research project. The second one, INERIS, is a governmental agency where I worked on modelisation to improve the knowledge in atmospheric secondary pollutants formation. This Ph.D. was achieved after I finished a Master and a Bachelor degree in Chemistry at Paris VI University.
