• Seventeen years of experience as a spokesperson and public information officer for the United Nations, including seven years at the Headquarters (New York), and ten years in the field (Africa, Haiti) as a spokesperson for peacekeeping missions. During this period, as Mission’s spokesperson and officer in charge of Public information units/sections, advising the leadership on strategic communication and media relations, drafting public information policies and plans based on the Mission mandate and coordinating their implementation; Supervising and training professional staff, mainly journalists (radio, publications, web and social media teams), military and police spokespersons, photographs, video producers, cameramen, outreach officers, social media coordinators and technicians (depending on assignments, teams composed of 15 to 140 staff).
